Wood Words Thank You Card Tutorial
1- Cut card base out of Basic Black card stock 5 1/2 X 8 1/2 Scored 4 1/4
Cut Crushed Curry panel 5 1/4 X 4
Cut Whisper White panel 5 X 3 3/4
Cut strip of Designer paper 5 X 1 1/4
Cut a strip of Whisper White 5 X width of your washi tape (Mine was 1/2 inch)
2- Using the Layering Circles Framelit out of basic black cut one scallped circle 2 1/2 and the other at 1 3/4. Then out of whisper white cut two circles one 2 1/8 and the other 1 3/8
3-Adhere the designer paper strip 5 X 1 1/4 to the bottom of the whisper white panel.
4- Attach washi tape to the whisper white strip and then adhere that to the whisper white panel just above the designer paper strip.
5- Cut a white doily slightly less than half and attach that smaller segment to the left of the designer series strip with the top edge matching up to the edge of the designer paper.
6- On the larger white circle stamp in Memento Black ink the floral image. It won't all fit but stamp as much as you can. Color in the flowers and leaves and then adhere to the larger scalloped circle.
7- On the smaller white circle stamp the sentiment in black or a coordinating color and adhere to the smaller basic black scalloped circle.
8- Put dimensionals on the back of both circles. Place the larger circle so that it hangs over part of the doily but still covers a big portion of the upper half of the whisper white panel. Attach the smaller circle next (but slightly above) to the floral image.
