Stampin Up Daisy Delight Greeting Card

Hello Inkredible Friends!!

I’m ready for fall but I’m not quite ready to see the summer flowers fade!! Today’s Stampin Up Daisy Delight greeting card reminds me of the transition from summer to fall and it’s a small way that I can have the best of both worlds!

I am in love with the new Stampin’ Up! Buffalo check background stamp!! If you haven’t gotten that stamp yet check it out. You can find it on page 38 in the holiday catalog. I love how this buffalo check meets country home feel! Click If you’d like to view the catalog online if you are here in the U.S. and do not have a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator then contact me and I’ll be happy to get one mailed to you.

Before we jump into today’s card tutorial video let me remind you that September 30, 2018 is the last day to redeem your ‘Bonus Days’ coupons. You won’t want to lose those so place your order and redeem them before the deadline.

Stampin Up Daisy Delight Greeting Card Tutorial:

  1. Cut card base out of Crushed Curry 5 1/2” X 8 1/2” Score at 4 1/4”
    Cut Whisper white (2 pieces) 5 1/4” X 4”
    Cut Basic Black 1 3/4” x 4”
    Scrap piece of Crushed Curry …you’ll need enough for a 1 1/2” X 4
Scrap piece of Whisper White to stamp and punch 2 daisies

  2. Stamp 2 daisies in Crushed Curry Ink; stamp the center in tuxedo black and punch out. Adhere the two flowers so that petals of the second are positioned between the petals of the first. Set aside

  3. On a scrap piece of Crushed Curry cardstock stamp the buffalo check in Tuxedo Black ink and then cut the strip down to 1 1/2” X 4”. Adhere this to the basic black layer 1 3/4” X 4” and then place this along the bottom of one of the whisper white panels.

  4. Ink the sentiment in tuxedo black and stamp on the card front where desired.

  5. Take the Crushed Curry Marker and ‘fleck’ onto the card front. Be sure to have a piece of scrap paper behind your card panel as this technique does splatter a bit. **See the video tutorial for this greeting card to learn how to easily achieve this step.

  6. Place a dimensional on the back of the daisy and place that on the card front wherever you’d like.

  7. On the inside card panel stamp the daisy in a lower corner in crushed curry and you can add the ‘flecks’ of ink there too if you’d like.

  8. Stamp the interior greeting of the card in tuxedo black.
