Easy Card Design Using Scrapbook Paper

Life has been good but full and if you're like me there are some weeks where you need quick card design ideas! So....today I am sharing an easy card design using scrapbook paper. There are so many beautiful designer series papers and scrapbook papers available for purchase and this design shows them off well!

The Stampin' Up! Petal Promenade designer series paper is one of my favorite paper packs in the catalog. Picture don't capture what this paper looks like in real life...it has a photo-like quality.

The sentiment on this greeting card uses the Very Vintage stamp set which is a hostess set in the annual catalog. Contact me here if you want information on how you can get this stamp set for free! I love the versatility of this stamp set....great for birthday cards, thank you cards, and thinking of you cards.

Using the Big Shot and Layering Circle Framelits, cut out a scalloped circle 2 1/4" in Petal Pink and then using the Stitched Shapes cut a circle 1 7/8" diameter in whisper white.
Cut a piece of the white ribbon about 4 1/2" long.

Layer the Petal Promenade paper on top of the Old Olive layer. Attach ribbon using glue dots toward the bottom of the panel. Attach all of this to the Petal Pink card base.

Stamp the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo black onto the 1 7/8" stitched circle and then layer this piece onto the Petal Pink Scalloped layer. Attach dimensionals to the back and then attach to the card front where desired.
