Heartland-Sweet boy and his duck

Heartland-Sweet boy and his duck

Don't you just love this image of a boy walking with the ducks from the Heartland stamp set?! You can easily make this card. This card could easily be used for many occasions just by changing out the greeting.
I used Early Espresso for the card base cut at 5 1/2 x 11, scored in half at 4 1/4. Then take a piece of Crumb Cake cut at 5 1/4 x 4 and I used the Hardwood background stamp in Early Espresso ink. I used very vanilla cardstock to stamp the boy and ducks onto and cut them out using the tag & label framelits (retired product) but use whatever you have. I used the layering squares framelits to cut a square out of Early Espresso cardstock. Stamp a greeting or phrase in Early Espresso ink onto very vanilla cardstock, add ribbon, a button, twine...whatever you have for extra 'pop' and dimension and you have made a cute card!

I'm thinking about using colored pencils or Stampin' Write blender pen to add some color to the image too.
